Seed Sowers/ meetings

Hello, to one and all,We think of you all often, and would love to hug you in person, but we are sending our love over the wires, satellites and whatever other means might be necessary to get this e-mail to you. We hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and that you are now in the resting/recovering phase- nice thought anyway! For those of you who were at Pennsauken conference, we heard it was a very good weekend. We hope you were refreshed by the conference, and that if was a blessing to you. What a great way to start the New Year, and refocus on what really counts!!

You have probably heard about the week of Seed Sowers, but we know many had been interested and praying, so thought we’d give a quick update in case there’s anything you missed.

November Update

Hello, and our love to each and every one of you. We hope all is well with you and your/our families. We so enjoy hearing from each of you to know how life is..as they say here… “on the other side”! We love any pictures you send too. We will have to get some pictures on the blog so you all can see the children (and John and me, of course!!), but I would actually have to figure out how to get the computer to do that, so I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one if I were you. We’re Here!

As you may know, we have no telephone service as yet. Eleo (Eleonor Mosquera- niece of david Alves, commended from Venezuela, lives around the corner, very sweet sister) took me to the phone company the other day to request a line- they said we will have one in two to three weeks. However, the phone company called yesterday because the owner of our house is past due on the phone bill, and they wont give us a new line until itâ€™s paid. Me trying to spar verbally about this issue with my limited Spanish is a little like using a water pistol in a sword fight. Anyway, it will work out, but will just take time, and the assistance of brother Juan (Dennison)!. Once we have phone service, we can then request internet service, but I have no idea how quickly (or not) that will all come to pass. We will be happy to be in touch once our service is all in place. John will send this e-mail over at John and Michelleâ€™s a little later. You can return e-mail if you wish. (more…)
